| | | | | CLIMATIC
| | | Climatic, musician, producer and video-artist, was born 1971 in Southern Germany. Already by the age of
16, he gained attention as a keyboarder and composer for various live bands. Pursuing a career as a jazz/fusion pianist at first, he studied piano, drums and percussion at the conservatory in Mannheim. It was then in the early nineties, when he also became established as a studio musician and producer.
However, his growing interest in dj-culture and electronic music drew him to cologne a few years later. Here, he built up his studio, and began to work on his own tracks and remixes. Inspired by Kruder&Dorfmeister, The Orb and Erik Satie, yet deeply rooted in jazz and soul music, he developed a colourful and wide variety of sound-sphere, which could be best described as somewhere between Ambient/Downbeat and Deep-House.
Being a live-partner of Naoki Kenji for many years, he became familiar with the club-scene in and out of Germany. This collaboration also lead to several tracks, as released on Kenji?s album ?E-coustic? or ?JP-Juice/Fukai Remixed? . Also his music got released on various compilations. Since one and a half years, his tracks and videoclips appear constantly in the hr-Fernsehen television night program ?man-vs-machine?.
Climatic sees himself as crossing-over, rather than puristic. With ?Around And About? he presents a very personal and wide-ranged debut album, proving remarkable musical maturity.

'Incanto' CD
| | | Incanto, latin: 'to enchant by music', is the motto of Climatics second longplayer on 4mpo. The artist from Cologne once again has taken a long journey through various styles of electronic music without losing sight of the lounge/deep house concept.
The album, which sustaines a soft and slightly melancholic undertone, holds many
cineatic moments. Sometimes one dives deeply into sun-splashed beach athmosphere,
finds himself in a shady dock scenery ? la James Bond and then gets carried away
by a 70?s french movie...
Dennis Legree, a very expressive singer and songwriter, you might as well know by his
collaborations with Inaya Day and Deep Dive Corporation, appears on two new vocal tracks:
'You rescued me'; gospel music gets fused with trip hop, what comes out
is a very personal and intense ballad. And on Everything', a smooth and tasty
chill- house tune.
Antonella D?Orio, the italian-born singer, also has added a lot of flavour to the album.
Her voice fits perfectly into Climatic?s sound and vibe.
Compared to the debut 'Around and About', the new album sounds pretty saturated, production-wise, and appears to be more emotional and well rounded.
Climatic, whose tracks have meanwhile been released on numerous Compilations
in and outside of Germany, also exists as a live act.
